The land beloved of the gods

...ancient legends say that when the earth was created, the gods immersed a coral blade in the ocean. And when they took it out, four delicious drops rolled off the blade. These drops became the islands of Japan...

Japan has a lot of amazing and attractive things. Be it a combination of picturesque mountains and stormy ocean, or a poetic change of seasons, or stunning art and aesthetics, or exotic national cuisine...

Japan amazingly combines in its culture ancient myths with belief in gods and demons, on the one hand, and modern features of the advanced society of tomorrow. Where else can you find ancient temples in the shadow of ultra-modern skyscrapers? Where else are the latest technologies combined with ancient customs and superstitions? Where else... you can ask many similar questions, but there will be only one answer: in Japan! East and West, past and future merge here, forming a unique, original civilization that, like a delightful lotus, has blossomed on the islands between Asia and the Pacific Ocean.

Japan is a country big and small at the same time. Places as diverse as the seaside resorts of Izu, the hot springs of Hakone or the elegant temple complexes of Nikko are all just a couple of hours' drive from Tokyo, the world's largest metropolis. The northern island of Hokkaido has a climate similar to Siberia, with frosty and snowy winters. And in the far south, in the Okinawa archipelago, where many white sandy beaches are washed by the warm azure sea, eternal summer reigns all year round...

Japan is also a very comfortable country. The Shinkansen super express, which translates as “bullet train,” covers a distance of five hundred kilometers from Tokyo to Kyoto in just two and a half hours. At the same time, the contrast between the futuristic skyscrapers of the Eastern capital, as “Tokyo” is translated, and the elegant temples of the Western capital, as the name “Kyoto” can be translated, turns out to be so great that such a trip becomes like traveling in a time machine!

You can admire for a long time the images of the impeccable outlines of the majestic Fuji or the Shinto shrines of amazing beauty. You can listen for a long time to people’s reviews of the pleasure they received while plunging into a rotenburo - an open-air bath made of stones and filled with scalding thermal water. You can... but it's better to experience it yourself.

Come to Japan! You will remember such a trip forever and you will definitely want to visit here again. After all, only after visiting Japan, you will realize why this is truly the Land beloved of the gods.
